  • Remember, Lazada will not contact you directly to ask for any information except under very limited circumstances.

  • Keep all communications with any Sellers within the Lazada application or website as much as possible (use the Q&A section or Direct Messaging option)

  • Avoid sharing personal information with others. Example of personal information: Mobile number, email address, delivery address, bank account information.

  • Sellers should not proactively reach out to you to ask for your personal information over Chat, or any other methods. If you receive a call, message or email from anyone claiming to be a Seller asking for any information from you, please notify us immediately, regardless of how genuine the inquiry may seem.

  • Only make payment for orders via the Lazada application or website. Should a seller attempt to persuade you to make a bank transfer (or other direct payment to them), please notify us immediately – this includes payment of any “additional” fees

  • Check product and seller ratings and review before making a purchase - Do, however, remember that reviews can be faked. Scammers can buy over accounts of sellers with good ratings to aid in carrying out their scams.

  • Be wary of offers that are “too good to be true”. They usually are.
